The Sefton Economic Forum Event

The Sefton Economic Forum event...

Recently, our CEO James Brayshaw was pleased to have been asked to chair the Sefton Economic Forum (delivered by Invest Sefton) at The Lake House, Waterloo. Following the lively event Mr Brayshaw said, 'This quarters forum, as usual, had a particularly high calibre of guests and was especially interesting with a special guest from the Bank of England to update us on the bank's current economic forecasts, I found it really interesting, and I know from speaking to representatives of several of the other businesses who attended they enjoyed it too’.The Sefton Economic Forum represents an excellent opportunity to meet other business owners in a relaxed and informal environment. This is a key business event held twice a year and it usually attracts at least 100 delegates and also gives space for over 20 providers of business assistance from the Liverpool City Region to showcase their services in the Growth Hub Marketplace.Attending the event, offered delegates the opportunity to hear some of the latest, business-relevant, updates on projects and events across the Liverpool City Region, access to services they may not have known and a great opportunity for business owners, directors, and leaders to meet.High-profile representatives Ken Clarke deputy agent of the Bank of England, Robin Tudor of John Lennon Airport, Irina Shmakova of the Department for Trade and Industry and Geraldine Fuller of BIPC Liverpool City Region were all guest speakers at the Invest Sefton event, therefore was a great opportunity to meet and greet them face to face.
