Happy Birthday AdaptiveComms
WOW, and just like that AdaptiveComms is 20 YEARS OLD! Happy Birthday!A word from James Brayshaw (one of our founders). ''I still remember the excitement and trepidation of leaving my job and setting out to create something better. It's humbling to see how far AdaptiveComms has come, starting with my Wife and Business partner Clare we have been joined by lots of great, committed and caring people in making the journey successful. It was certainly a proud day when in 2015 we won North West Business of the year but it's the individual moments that give me the most pride, winning a new client, seeing a member of staff grow from a person in their first career job to become a senior leader in the business and some of the things we have been able to do in our community are all as equally important and still give me a kick.We are still thriving and growing, and there's some really exciting stuff happening right now which customers and staff will see benefit from in the near future. Considering the financial crises, covid and the cost of living crises we have all lived through it is a real achievement to celebrate twenty years of thriving having progressed from our lifestyle business into a multi-million organisation with 26 staff. We are delighted and look forward to many more exciting times ahead with AdaptiveComms on this very special Birthday!'
How far have we come?
Let's take a look back at how far we have come; established in 2003 we started simply selling mobile phones, by 2007 we knew there was a change coming in the market from ''single to multi-service providers'' so we started to heavily re-invest profits to create an IT service wing of the company. As Communications and IT have become more integrated, we have evolved into a full-service, turn-key technology service provider capable of delivering all aspects of customers' key technology services. In 2013, AdaptiveComms MD, James Brayshaw, participated in Golden Sachs 10,000 small businesses, this was a key stepping stone in the development of the business model to ensure we were capable of continuing to grow at peace. As 2015 came around we were delighted to win the winning E3 business of the year award! What a huge success this was for the business! This award was achieved by AdaptiveComms through outstanding growth, ambition, management and expectational performance within a variety of areas. The areas consist of customer service, suitability, employment, corporate social responsibility, and product service development. The following year, CEO James Brayshaw was listed on the 42 under 42 Award. This is a list of 42 businesspeople under the age of 42 who have achieved notable business success and are seen as ''ones to watch'' as their businesses are expected to go on to another level, something we believe AdaptiveComms is well on the road to achieving. It has been important to us as we have grown and as we continue to do so to maintain the core values of service at the heart of everything we do and take care of our employees and the community around us. In February 2020, AdaptiveComms committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2030. We have already taken huge strides in achieving this, procuring electric vehicles, reducing emissions, and ensuring we only use ethical suppliers aligned with our values.
Twentieth year in business...
As we enter our twentieth year, we are rightly proud of our achievements, supporting over 700 businesses and tens of thousands of end users is no mean feat. But we have no intention of sitting on our laurels our plans for growth in the business are exciting, and we expect further growth, and we expect to ensure the company gets not only bigger but also better with real terms benefits for customers. To give you a taste of what's going on behind the scenes; we are currently coming to the end of the process to hopefully gain the prestigious ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditations, both of which we hope to achieve in early 2023! We intend to then move on to improve our digital delivery system to help ensure the delivery of service and implementation of solutions is as good as it possibly can be for customers. We intend to create a customer web portal this year as well as to allow self-service where appropriate for customers and end users, all the time sticking to our core values of service. In these last 20 years we have seen an incredible revolution in the telecoms and IT space, 20 years ago smart phones didn't exist, hosted as a party and cloud was something likely to rain on you! We have enjoyed the roller-coaster and kept up with all the twists and turns and we are looking forward to the next 20 years and seeing what that brings. Predictions of the future are out of date almost as soon as you make them in this business but what AdaptiveComms can promise is we will continue to keep on top of the changes in the industry and make that they only deliver benefits for our customers.
