Implementing an Environmental Champion...
AdaptiveComms is committed to creating a green and sustainable workplace, protecting our world and environment wherever we can. Having taken the active decision to do our bit in the battle against global warming we sourced an independent study into our carbon use from the team at Liverpool John Moores University led by Professor Ibijoke Idowu. Armed with this information and a plan to take positive steps to reduce our carbon footprint we decided we needed a tangible goal and set out our commitment to become carbon neutral by 2030.We have already taken some of the low-hanging fruit, changing our lighting to LED, sourcing green energy suppliers, and starting the move to electric cars, but to supercharge our efforts we decided to ask for one of our staff to come forward and take on the role of Environmental Champion for the company. Their new role is designed to allow them to take a proactive lead in actively implementing measures to ensure we are hitting our target of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
Who is our Environmental Champion...
AdaptiveComms are delighted to announce Amy Holland as our new Environmental Champion. Amy is a long-term member of the team who is a key part of our customer service team and is keen to start. When asked why she wanted the role Amy said, Any small change we make together with the action of others plays a big part in changing the environment for the better.Well said Amy, this is something Im sure we all agree on. We truly hope that we can achieve our goal of being Carbon Neutral by 2030 and Amy will play an integral part in allowing AdaptiveComms to smoothly implement changes and remind us of the importance to us all.
