Following the extreme weather and high tides across the West coast, we believe it is more important than ever to remember the services Lifeboat charities provide across the UK.
As part of our continued commitment to the local community and to help reduce our environmental impact this festive season, we chose not to send any Christmas cards,??but instead donated the allocated ?500 to two local charities.
One of our chosen charities was the Southport Offshore Rescue Trust, known locally as Southport Lifeboat. Southport Lifeboat is an independent charity that provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the Southport coast. The charity is made up of unpaid volunteers from local area, and have saved the lives of over 200 people in the last 21 years.

We received a note from founding member John Shawcroft. We are pleased to be able to support such a valuable and important local charity.
