Ofcom proposal: Continuing to provide our customers with a high quality and fair service

This week AdaptiveComms were pleased to hear that Ofcom (the UK?s telecommunications regulator) have announced a proposal on mid contract price rises for landline, broadband and mobile services offered to consumers and small businesses.

The notice aims to protect small businesses from mid contract price rises through allowing customers to exit a fixed term contract without penalty should their communications provider increase the cost of their monthly subscription.

As a wholesale telecommunications provider to business we have never increased our own prices mid term and never would (subject to changes in the law or tax rates). However, some of our customers have experienced increases from 3rd party contracts who have increased their prices.

As our aim is to always provide quality and fair service & pricing we are delighted with the development of this guidance, as it will allow us to guarantee customers with a fixed cost contract regardless of who they are connected to.

We will never raise our own prices mid term and strive to always communicate any price and contractual agreements or changes openly and honestly with our clients.
