Converting our office lighting to energy saving LEDadaptivecomms
AdaptiveComms have invested today in replacing all our lights around the office with low power consumption LED. This is an important next step in our continued journey to carbon neutrality.
Carbon Neutral Goal
As part of an ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, AdaptiveComms has pledged to become completely carbon neutral by 2030 by working in a greener, more sustainable way that benefits staff, clients and communities. Following a carbon footprint assessment, issued by Liverpool John Moores University, this ambitious goal will be achieved through an investment of £450,000.
I addition to switching office lighting to a more sustainable alternative, the company are also in the process of replacing their fleet with electric vehicles, and have introduced a dynamic working structure that supports home working for staff. AdaptiveComms will also be ensuring all the suppliers they work with are in pursuit of the same sustainability goals.
These new steps will not only reduce the carbon footprint of the business but also support employees in remaining every bit as productive whilst also having the ability to work with more flexibility. We’re excited to be on this journey to transform the company into a greener one.
Daniel Blunt, Industry Liaison Officer (Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory) at LJMU added: “Our report has identified opportunities for low carbon development which will ultimately bring about economic and environmental benefits to both AdaptiveComms and the wider community.”
